I’m also a big fan of Tokiya-Fuuko and Raiha-Fuuko pairing. Fuuko goes very well with the both of them, however, I think Tokiya needs her more, being so lonely and all that. He only shows his emotions when he’s around her. This story is like a sequel to ‘When The Ice Melts’ by Jacquey. I’m not sure whether that’s the story’s title or the correct author name, so don’t mind me! You can read the story at the Fuuko Shrine by the Bluhdy One. I love her website, it’s gotta be the best shrine to Fuuko in the world. Email me at zhiling@graffiti.net if you wanna gimme any fan/hate mail. I’ll appreciate the feedback.
P.S. The words in the
[ ]s are my comments. Don’t read if you don’t wanna hear my two cent’s
worth.
P.P.S. I’m sorry all
Raiha-Fuuko fans, I promise the next fanfic I write will be Raiha-Fuuko.
Expect nothing less from me. Really sorry Raiha and Raiha-Fuuko supporters!
Lotsa Luv,
Ling-chan
*******************************************************************************************
(Raiha walks out of
Tokiya’s apartment while Tokiya and Fuuko are inside having a “friendly”
verbal fight.)
Raiha:
I hope the two of them will be able to have a good relationship. I’m going
to miss you so much Fuuko-sama. Mikagami-sama, please take good care of
her. (Saying this under his breath, he leaves the apartment with one last
look at the 2 of them in each other’s arms, making up [They aren’t kissing,
just apologising])
(The next day)
Fuuko walks into Tokiya’s
bedroom where he is sleeping soundly. (They are both in proper attire,
nothing hentai)
Fuuko:
Hey sleepyhead! You’re gonna be late for your classes if you still don’t
wanna get up. (She bonks him on the head with a pillow, laughing at him
as he groggily sits up)
Tokiya:
And who died and let you start bossing me around. (He glares at her and
takes another pillow and almost hits her but he suddenly stops when he
looks at the alarm clock) Heck, I’m so late for my lecture, the Dean is
going to murder me. (Looks at her) Wait a minute, why haven’t you changed
and gone for lessons?
Fuuko:
It’s Saturday, dope, you’re a real goody-two-shoes and a nerd. (Makes a
funny face and falls off his bed laughing uncontrollably) You’re hopeless
man! (Tokiya now attacks her mercilessly with the pillow in his hands for
waking him up)
Tokiya:
Now leave me alone and let me get some beauty sleep.
Fuuko:
Oh, haven’t you got enough already. You’re already soooo bishounen. (Sarcastically)
Tokiya:
(Thinks for a while) I’ll take that as a compliment. (Pushes her out of
his room) Now let me sleep. (Slams the door)
Fuuko:
Whatever you say pretty boy.
Tokiya:
(From the bedroom) I heard that.
Fuuko:
Wet blanket. Speaking of wet, I think I’ll go have a bath.
(In the bathroom)
Fuuko:
I can’t believe Raiha let me go with Tokiya. He’s changed a lot. Wonder
if it has something to do with Kurei’s absence. Poor Kurei, must have been
awful to die at such a young age, he had to live such a sad life too. Ah,
but he deserved it, retribution for all his crimes. At least Yokko and
him are over. Finally, it’s over, it’s peace again in the world. I really
hope they never get back together again.
Tokiya:
(He woke up since he couldn’t sleep anymore thanks to Fuuko) Hey Kirisawa,
don’t tell me you start talking to yourself when you don’t get enough sleep.
(Irritated, as he is watching a programme [That’s how loud Fuuko’s voice
is]) You’re mighty weird you know.
Fuuko:
I’m coming to get you when I’m through, you better run while you still
can Mikagami. I’m gonna have my Fuujin with me.
Tokiya:
Oh, I’m soooo terribly scared, don’t worry Fuuko, I’ll try not to harm
you with my Ensui.
Fuuko:
Do it and Raiha will be after your pretty little head. I pity all those
legions of female fans you have. They’re gonna be so disappointed. No more
Tokiya Mikagami to throw away their gifts and fan mail. (Tokiya is silent)
Hey Tokiya, still alive. (He still remains silent)
Fuuko:
Tokiya?! (Softly) Me and my big mouth, I just had to mention Raiha. (Loudly
again) Hey Tokiya, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…
Tokiya:
Shut up! I can’t hear the anchorwoman on the news. (In a quite nice tone
[The nicest he can muster])
Fuuko:
Phew! The news! Watching the news is the most boring thing on planet. Gosh,
you’re really a nerd.
Tokiya:
One more word from you and I’m coming in.
Fuuko:
No such luck, I’m done already. (Opens the bathroom door and combs her
hair)
Tokiya:
I didn’t know you even cared about your hair. (Looking up from the television
screen to acknowledge her presence [Looks very drool-worthy even when he
is just wearing a white shirt over blue sweatpants, his normal home attire])
Fuuko:
And when did you notice that? Have you been staring at me?
Tokiya:
Of course not. Your hair is always disheveled and you never bother to fix
it.
Fuuko:
And what, become as narcissistic as Tsukushiro and you? I’ll rather burn
my Fuujin.
Tokiya:
Then why are you combing your hair? (Fuuko has a huge sweatdrop on her
head) Anyway, I’m not narcissistic. Tsukushiro is.
Fuuko:
(She already stopped combing her hair when Tokiya said he didn’t think
she cared about her hair) Well, if you don’t call wearing Armani suits
to fight and always having perfect hair narcissistic, then I wonder what
is.
Tokiya:
(Muttering under his breath) And she wonders why she attracts perverts
like Fujimaru with the way she dresses. (Fuuko hears that comment and immediately
yanks his ponytail and his rubber band comes loose. Tokiya gets mad) DON’T
YOU EVER TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN!!!
Fuuko:
Knew you would get pissed off. (Laughs) If you want your rubber band back
you gotta catch me. (Runs to the balcony)
Tokiya:
Humph! I’m not going to play any childish games with you. Now give it back
or else…
Fuuko:
Or else what? You move an inch near me and I’m gonna scream out to your
fans that I’m going to throw your rubber band to them and that you look
really gorgeous with your hair down. But of course, you look like a girl.
Pretty girl! (Sticks out her tongue and holds the rubber band out of the
window)
Tokiya:
How dare you call me a girl, you ugly tomboy!
Fuuko:
That’s it! (Punches him in his stomach, face and part that really, really
hurts. His face is contorted in pain and he curls up into a ball on the
floor) Don’t ever call me ugly. (She turns her face to the window and is
about to let go of the rubber band when she suddenly turns around abruptly,
right into, Tokiya, whose arms were trying to snatch his rubber band back.
She has a devastated look on her face)
Tokiya:
Got it. Hey, what’s wrong? (Tying his long, silky hair up[Gosh, I wish
I could run my fingers through them so badly])
Fuuko:
How dare she, how dare he, how dare them! (And runs to her room, eyes gleaming
with tears)
Tokiya:
Wait! (Looks out of the window and sees Yokko in Raiha’s arms, sobbing
away. He hears her say how much she regrets leaving Raiha and Raiha kisses
her tenderly and hugs her tight) That baka! What a liar and a double-crosser
he is. Raiha, you are going to pay dearly for hurting Fuuko, you scum of
the earth. (He runs to Fuuko’s bedroom where she is crying hysterically
but he can’t go in as she locked the door) Fuuko, Fuuko please come out.
Don’t stay in there and cry. Please!
Fuuko:
(Opens the door hesitantly after a few minutes) Yeah, I guess I should
come out.
Tokiya:
Fuuko! (Hugs her) It’s okay, I’m here. (Looks at her face which is full
of tears)
Fuuko:
Thanks Tokiya. You don’t have to, you know. (Looks at him and struggles
to smile) I’m sorry. I’m supposed to have totally forgotten about Raiha
by now but I can’t. I’m sorry Tokiya. I shouldn’t cry in front of you,
it’s unfair to even let you know that I’ve been crying. (She lets go of
his embrace) Don’t follow me Tokiya, I’ll know when to come back but I
need to think for a while. (He nods and she runs out of his apartment towards
the 20th story of the office building that she visits whenever she is down
in the dumps to look at the sky)
(At the building)
Fuuko:
Why am I still feeling for that liar, Raiha? I am being so unfair to Tokiya.
Raiha probably doesn’t care about me now that he’s got back together with
Yokko. In fact, they suit each other well, two venomous snakes that strike
you in the back, if you ask me. Why, why? Darn it all. Raiha and Tokiya,
the both of them, they have changed so much, even me. I wish I could run
away from all this. If only I was back at the Ura Butou Satoujin, with
the rest of Team Hokage except Tokiya, back when I never knew Raiha existed,
before the time he popped into my life, saving me from a certain death
a few times, and before he broke my heart. When Domon was still there for
me and I smiled all the time. (She is crying by now. She looks up at the
sky and frowns) Gosh, even the sky is so bright and blue. Gusts of wind!
(Wind suddenly appears, huge gusts of it blowing around her and rustling
her hair) Weird, I never knew I could control the wind without the Fuujin.
Must be luck or coincidence. Anyway, I shouldn’t be spoiling someone else’s
day because I’m upset. Wind, be still. (True enough, the wind suddenly
stops and the sun, isn’t blocked by clouds anymore) I gotta talk to Tokiya
and the rest about this thing. ([She has stopped crying for your information]
She looks to the block of buildings where his apartment is and smiles a
small, sad smile) I wonder how he is coping. With me freaking out like
that just because Raiha’s back with Yokko, must be hard for him to know
that I still feel something for Raiha. I better go back. (Heads towards
the lift and walks towards Tokiya’s apartment)
(On the way, she meets,
of all people, Raiha and Yokko)
Yokko:
Oh hello, Fuuko. And how are things between Tokiya and you? Must be bad,
huh? You have a reputation for putting off men pretty well. In fact, here’s
an example! (Pushes Raiha in front of her as he was trying to hide from
Fuuko)
Raiha:
Um…hi Fuuko! (Nervously)
Yokko:
And in case you didn’t know, I took Raiha right back from you. He’s mine
again now, tomboyish loser! You don’t even know how to keep a guy. (Raiha
looks very uncomfortable and is trying to pull Yokko away from Fuuko. Meanwhile,
Fuuko is silently looking down) What’s wrong Fuuko, did I just accidentally
douse you with cold water. Well, I’m sorry, too bad everything I said is
true.
Fuuko:
(After a while) You know what Yokko, I had Raiha first. He held me close
to him before you, kissed me tenderly before you and went out with me before
you. I’m sorta like passing down something I used before to you. I had
him first, Yokko. And he loved me first. I gave him to you only because
you looked so pathetic just clinging to him and crying. I felt bad for
you, that was why I took him where I had left him to dry and let you have
him. You said you couldn’t live without him. You’re weak, not like me.
I still survived after I left him, shocked but still intact. I even found
someone else better than him. I pity you Yokko, having to make do with
the stuff I throw out. (Turns to Raiha) And Raiha, I certainly don’t regret
giving you to her. I missed you at first, but now I know just what kind
of filth I was spending two years of my life with. Goodbye you two, someone
I cast off and the beggar who took it. (Fuuko says all of this calmly without
a single tear rolling down. With that, she walks off with a smug smile
on her face, leaving a furious Yokko behind with Raiha trying his best
to stop her from rushing at Fuuko and tearing her hair out)
(At Tokiya’s apartment)
Tokiya:
You okay? I saw everything from the balcony. Wanna tell me what happened?
Fuuko:
Well … … … … [You don’t expect me to write down that whole bit again, now
do you]
(After a while [Well,
that would have taken some time for Fuuko to narrate})
Tokiya:
I see… I’m proud of you Fuuko. You haven’t acted brashly for two times
now. Not bad, looks like having me around you all the time is helping you
keep your emotions in check. The old Fuuko would probably have been in
jail now for murdering Yokko and injuring Raiha, who would have been trying
to protect you and her. (Smiles and hugs her) I’m really proud of you.
Fuuko:
Thanks for hearing me out. (Lets go of him later [much, much later]) Now,
about my being able to change the weather with mere words, I wonder if
it was really my doing.
Tokiya:
I saw the change. I thought it was you who caused it but then I realized
that you left the Fuujin here so I figured it was just coincidence. You
better call the Hanabishi residence and talk to Kagero and the others about
this incident. And please, don’t even hint to them that you’re staying
with me.
Fuuko:
Yeah, fine! It has been a long time since I last saw the gang. We should
go visit them sometime.
Tokiya:
You go, I won’t be able to tolerate them.
Fuuko:
As if you won’t go when I make sure Yanagi’s there.
Tokiya:
She’s probably married to Recca by now and has her own kindergarten of
her own to raise at home.
Fuuko:
Come on, they’re too young for that sort of thing. Married, possible bout
not now, but with kids, impossible. Especially with Kagero around the house,
I don’t think they even get to kiss each other on the cheek. I wonder how
Domon, Kaoru and Ganko are. Even the ever, irritating Kondo. I kinda miss
that smelly stuffed toy fox.
Tokiya:
Me too. He was always hanging around my face and my hair. Messing and ruffling
up my lovely hair. So irritating. Even my stares and glares didn’t work
on him, only my attempts at strangling him.
Fuuko:
(Bonks him in the abdomen) You’re so cruel. How can you hurt a stuffed
toy? No wonder he swore to irritate you forever by messing up your perfect
hair. But somehow, your hair always remained so perfect. You know, I even
miss Team Kuu and that one-member fan club of mine! I’m even starting to
miss Team Uruha. Kurei, Neon and Kouran Mori. Life seems so boring without
‘em bad guys… … I feel a lot better now Mi-chan. Thanks for cheering me
up. I’ll be in my room if you need me! (Smiles widely at him and disappears
into her room)
Tokiya:
I’ll try not to miss you too badly. (Thinking) I wonder what she’s doing.
(He creeps to her door and hears weird sounds coming from inside. Sensing
someone, Fuuko quietly opens the door)
Fuuko:
Hey, how dare you invade my privacy! (Punches his face [I hope she didn’t
ruin his lovely face]) That’ll teach you never to eavesdrop on me when
I’m in my room. (Goes back in)
Tokiya:
That’s the sixth time you’ve hit me today. Watch out, I’m gonna get my
revenge sooner or later.
Fuuko:
Yeah, whatever. (Tokiya returns to the sofa and resumes watching the news
[Well, isn’t he boring]
(Two hours later, Fuuko
emerges from her room with a medium-sized box in her hands)
Tokiya:
What’s that?
Fuuko:
All the stuff Raiha ever gave me in the past two years.
Tokiya:
What’re you gonna do with it?
Fuuko:
Give it back to him.
Tokiya:
Want me to accompany you to his hostel?
Fuuko:
I have a feeling we should go to Yokko’s room in the campus.
Tokiya:
Need help carrying it?
Fuuko:
Nope, I gotta practice lifting this darned thing high enough so it lands
on Raiha’s head.
Tokiya:
(Laughs) Now that, I wanna see and enjoy! Come on, let’s go.
(On the way to Yokko’s
room)
Tokiya:
He sure gave you a lot of stuff didn’t he?
Fuuko:
Don’t worry, you’ve given me way more stuff than he ever did. At least
emotionally. If I remember right, you haven’t dumped me for my worst enemy
and gone back to her after you swore you hated her for making my life hell,
unlike some people.
Tokiya:
Why don’t you make a loud racquet and embarrass them?
Fuuko:
I thought you knew me well enough? (This is in mock horror) I had the speech
all memorised already! I can’t believe you had to suggest it to me!
Tokiya:
I should’ve known. Let’s go out for dinner after this okay?
Fuuko:
Sure, if I can escape from their room without looking like I got attacked
by a wild animal. Darn, I forgot to bring my Fuujin along. Oh yeah, remind
me to call Recca when we get home.
Tokiya:
I will. I believe we’re at their door.
Fuuko:
Yup, we are. Brace yourself for a catfight. One, two, three. (She presses
the doorbell and Yokko answers the door)
Yokko:
What the hell are you doing here you tomboyish brat? [She doesn’t look
too happy if you ask me]
Fuuko:
None of your business, slut. I have reason to believe Raiha is here.
Raiha:
Fuuko! What are you doing here?
Fuuko:
Ah, Raiha, you sickening little pile of putty in Yokko’s hands! (Throws
the box with deadly aim at his forehead. She hits her target, thankfully,
Raiha survives the blow and hasn’t been knocked out)
Raiha:
What’s this?
Fuuko:
All the junk you gave me in those two years that you spent telling and
feeding me crap that you had feelings for me. Take it back, I don’t wanna
have anything to do with stuff from you. And if I left any clothes at your
place accidentally, please burn them or throw them away. I don’t wanna
have anything that was near your presence at all. Goodbye! (Smiles sweetly
at him and turns to walk to Tokiya) Let’s go for dinner now Tokiya.
Raiha:
Fuuko! (Grabs her hand and pulls her to him) I’m sorry. (Kisses her)
Yokko:
Raiha! How dare you! How could you! (Both Tokiya and her look bewildered
at Raiha kissing Fuuko with so much passion)
Fuuko:
Raiha! Don’t! Stop it! (She slaps him) Give me time to think. (Runs to
Tokiya then turns back and smiles and Raiha) Listen to the radio tonight.
I’ll dedicate a song to you and the song will be about how I feel. Let’s
go, Tokiya. (He nods, still stupefied [Poor guy])
(At a eatery)
Fuuko:
Hey, Mi-chan why are you so silent?
Tokiya:
(Bangs his spoon in frustration) I don’t know why I’m even eating with
you. It’s obvious you’re in love with Raiha all over again. (Gets up to
leave after throwing some money on the table)
Fuuko:
Tokiya wait! You got it all wrong! (Runs out of the eatery after him)
Tokiya:
Let go of me! You can’t lie to me. You even let him kiss you for a while
then you slapped him. You think I don’t know that you still have feelings
for him, well I do! I wish I never opened up my home and heart to you because
all I’m ever gonna get is ingratitude and sorrow. I loved you for a while
Fuuko, and now I’m regretting it. I should never have been nice to you,
just look where it left me! (Walks away angrily)
Fuuko:
Tokiya! (Whirls him around with all her strength and firmly plants her
lips on his)
Tokiya:
What the…? (He stares at her face in astonishment and sees tears running
down her cheeks)
Fuuko:
I never knew you felt for me this way Tokiya. I thought you were just having
some fun with me. I only managed to slap Raiha after a while because I
was so shocked. I was so quiet during dinner because I was trying to recall
all the songs that would put Raiha down so he would forget about me ever
liking him again. I acted all starry-eyed so Yokko would get major pissed
off. I’m sorry if it was a little bit too convincing. But you should know
me well enough, I learn from my mistakes and I never repeat them again.
I live by this principle when I’m fighting and in my normal life. I swear
I wouldn’t go back to him even if someone paid me all the money in the
world. I would rather die a horrible death. Aishiteru, Tokiya, aishiteru.
(Tokiya hugs her fiercely and they kiss again and again with all the passion
they had stored deep within them for fear of ridicule and rejection [So
I guess you should know just how passionate their kiss was as they certainly
have lotsa passion bottled within them])
Tokiya:
(Finally breaking their eons-long kisses) So what song have you decided
on?
Fuuko:
“Don’t Call Me Baby” by Madison Avenue. I like that song and it’ll really
snub him!
Tokiya:
I don’t believe I’ve heard it yet. But does he know what station to listen
to?
Fuuko:
Yes, that’s the only channel I ever listen to. I only wish I could see
the look on his face when he hears the song. I wonder if he’ll be devastated!
I hope Yokko hasn’t left him, I’ll pity the other guy who has to stick
with a parasite like her. Anyway, they match each other perfectly, both
of them are idiotic, no-brained, low-life, pathetic, moron-like, conniving
and lying scum of the earth. Glad to be rid of them.
Tokiya:
I couldn’t agree less. (Kisses her tenderly again) Let’s go home now.
Fuuko:
(Nods her head) Have I ever told you that you kiss so much better than
Raiha?
Tokiya:
I don’t believe so, well, come on, pour out to me all the praises about
my kissing! Tell me how to improve too! I want you to faint out of ecstasy
whenever I kiss you!
Fuuko:
You’re amazing skilled as a first-timer but it’s more like you’ll faint
whenever I kiss you!
Tokiya:
You’ll faint!
Fuuko:
No, you’ll faint!
Tokiya:
No, you’ll faint!
Fuuko:
No, you!
Tokiya:
No, you!
Fuuko:
No, you!
Tokiya:
No, you!
[And so the little verbal fight continues all the way home and Tokiya and Fuuko become a real pair after that. Raiha gets snubbed and goes back to Yokko and things are the same as before except Tokiya is nicer and Tokiya and Fuuko are utterly devoted to each other. Aunt Yuki is tremendously pleased that Tokiya and Fuuko are now steady and life is happy. I promise though, that if I get at least two emails stating that they like this story, I’ll immediately start working on a brand new sequel to this story. It’ll probably be about how Fuuko’s ability{It’s real, I’m telling you, it’s real} to control the wind without the Fuujin helps her and Team Hokage. And probably write about the fate-ordained fight between the Fuujin and the Raijin. I promise you it’ll be great to read and if people really like my work, maybe I’ll even write about Team Hokage as real full-fledged adults and who marries who. Of course, Tokiya will marry Fuuko and Recca will marry Yanagi, but there might just be a little twist here and there to strengthen each of their relationships. Well, see ya!!! ^_~]
