   AUGUST 15, 2000 EEEEYAAAIII!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FUUKO SHRINE????
^_~ No you didn't get lost in another website. And this place has *not* been taken over by another unruly animal. It is *still* the first, but no longer the only, Fuuko shrine on the information superhighway. So you ask, what got into Fuuko no Miko's bummed out brain to do such a drastic makeover? Well, for one thing *it must be the age* that's getting to me. For on this day, I turn a whopping....26! Yeah ladies and gentlemen, believe it or not, I'm a little over a quarter century old ^^;;; but proud of it. I do not beleive, however, that I am too old for anime. No one is. Some of my other anime friends are waaay older than I am ^_^. Aaaand, it's also the month where my beloved Fuuko-san is turning 18. Yup, Fuuko-san celebrated her natal day last August 2. Hence I thought the both of us could use a fresh start, regarding the shrine that is. So I changed the layout, changed a number of pics on a few of the pages and all that. I hope you guys would appreciate it ^_^. And if you *don't*, like if want the old layout or something, there isn't much I can do about that. I mean...it took me *ages* to finish this one and reversion is a little more time consuming and complicated....so I guess you'll have to put up with this one until further notice ^^. Recca-gumi: Happy Birthday to You...
So while the Recca-gumi is at it and yer all covering yer ears...here goes nothing: I finally gave my Tokiya-Fuuko fic a title. Yup. It took me 5 months but I did it. It's now called Hearts At Play. Yeah, yeah, not very cool sounding, but I guess it pretty much reflects on the fic and it involves the words Play. Anyway...I only have a handful of fics for today. Mainly because there haven't been too many submissions as of late. Must be exam week. That and the fact that some of the submissions are giving me a difficult time in editing ^^;;;. Add to the fact that I am such a *lazy* one to look for fics to steal. So for today, we have ten ficcies. One sonnet by Shakesperean extraordinaire Chris from the ML, another poem by my kawaii co-mistress, Little Raptor, another classic by Jacquey-san (Tokiya-Fuuko. Need you ask?), a sugoi Tokiya-Fuuko teaser by Bishounen no Otaku, a Raiha and Fuuko romance by Raydance, another Joker-Neon fan in the guise of Fuuko-san, a Tokiya-fuuko-*new guy* triangle by Yuffie-girl, the third installment of Kurei-Michiru by Moonstar, a Tokiya-Fuuko ten-parter by Chi-chan and a fic starring a very *uncommon* (its the first actually) duo by Miki-chan. Again, I would like to apologize for those whose fic submissions are not here yet. Give me a little time to edit, please. And it would really help me a lot if you people can submit your contributions in Microsoft Word Format, if possible. Arigatou! July 13, 2000 Howdy everybody! Gomen for taking all this time to update. There are just a bit too many fic submissions for me to handle, ne? So for the ease of editing fics, I would like to put up a few guidelines for submission: One, I'd really, really appreciate it if you could submit it in doc format. You know, Microsoft Word Document? It's a lot easier for me to edit that format than txt or html. It is less time-consuming, ergo, I get to update faster. But if you don't have MS Word, and have no other format, text/html is okay though it's really going to take me longer to fix it. Second of all, let me know about the name or e-mail you would like the fic to be credited to. I sometimes put real names because I don't know what the author wants me to put there. Third, all types of fics are welcome except HENTAI. Lemon fics may be accepted, as long as it's not too graphic. Now, there are 10 new fics down there, majority of which are love stories, Fuuko-Raiha, Fuuko-Tokiya, Fuuko-surprise partner, etc., Scroll down and enjoy! BTW, to those who requested for the lemon fics, I have sent them all, but if you asked for them and did not get them, it means the mail had been returned to me (since I sometimes get returned mail). Just give me your new addy so I can send them, alright?
JULY 13, 2000 I'm not in much of a mood for any happy ramblings right now...particulary because of certain events which are too personal to disclose. All I can say is...it's been a real baaad week, and I'm hoping things would look brighter next time. Geez. Anyway, one particular hentai head is very, very persistent...Thank heavens for the invention of the delete button. Now before I sink further into melancholy, allow me to give you the updates for the sites, and hopefully it will make you guys a lot *happier*than me +_+....SO ANYWAY...

I have just about reached the end of my string >_<.While I totally tolerated the people asking for naked Fuuko pics, Fuuko in her underwear, those declarations of lust, etcetera, I will not stand up anymore for those *obscene* signatures in my guestbook. That means you hentai-heads who signed about sex. While I understand that you are probably having a hormone surge, this is not the place to do it! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU PEOPLE THAT THIS IS NOT A HENTAI SITE. IT'S NOT, IT'S NOT, IT'S NOT!!!! The worse that I can tolerate is a lemon. June 5, 2000 First of all, I would like to apologize for taking *forever* to update ^^;;;. I've been working like a *dog* in the hospital lately, and it seems that *everybody* is sick, even the people at home. Anyways, there are seven new fanfics for everyone's reading pleasure. First off is a poem by my sister, the poet, Little Raptor with Recca-Yanagi starring in it. The second is a hilarious one starring our favorite kakkoi bad guy, Kurei-sama written by the multi-talented Ailin. The third is a naughty Valentine's Day Tokiya-Fuuko fanfic by Megumi. The fourth one also stars Tokiya-Fuuko, this time written by Kat, which is romantic, dramatic and all-around cool. The fifth is a Raiha-Fuuko one ^_^ which is one of my favorites-a real sweet one from Miyu. The last two fics are by me, the last three chapters of my Tokiya-Fuuko fic and a Neon-Joker one. I have a whole lotta backlog when it comes to fanfics. There are several more waiting for editing in my hard drive. Then a poem written by my sister, Little Raptor concerning everyone's favorite bad guy, Kurei-sama! Then, a contribution from Megumi-chan...another Tokiya-Fuuko love story. A Fuuko songfic by Willow. Two lovely fics by Jacquey (Yes, *that* Jacquey from the site Jacquey Writes), one Tokiya-Fuuko and one Raiha-Fuuko. And lastly, the second and third additions to my Tokiya-Fuuko fanfic. April 13, 2000 Hello everyone! My biggest apologies for taking *forever* to update *_*. It's just that I've been busy running my other sites and I've been busy with work. Plus, I suffered a major setback when my downloaded evaluation period graphics software expired *_*. Yeah, yeah, I'm too cheap to buy a *real graphics program* T_T so now you know. Anyhow, A LOT of major updates for today, so it was *hopefully* worth your wait ^_^. If you notice, the poll isn't here anymore, as well as the midi I put last month. Why? Because I think having the poll up for three months is enough, and it takes *an eternity* to load all the graphics in this page already so I removed it. Same goes for the midi. Though I might consider putting it in the front page. Yes, yes, yes, I have officially adopted Fuuko-san from THE FIRST FLAME OF RECCA ADOPTION CENTER run by the one and only Kamiya Shuusai of the Uruha Jyusshinshuu v2.5 fame. Gomen nasai to those who wanted Fuuko-san, but I got to her first ^_^. Neways, there are still a fair number of FoR charas for adoption...and they are all so kawaii!!!! If only I could adopt Gashakura too *sigh.*
Okay, so what else is new here?
For one thing, I put up a part two for the Miscellany Section! It's filled with a bunch of silly stuff I put up because I was so inspired by The Random Section of The Rurouni Kenshin Archive. So I pretty much took it from there ^_^. Most of the stuff in it is *inspired* (read: copied) from that wonderful place. Too bad its apparently going to close down in a while, so visit it while its still up!
Then the fourth Fuuko Gallery is up! Yes, yes, yes, I know you male Fuuko fans like this part ^_^...and we have to admit she's a mega-babe. But, as I always say, no hentai pics, no hentai pics, no hentai pics. You won't find any of that in this site. Gallery five and possibly even six will be up and running in a couple of weeks time. All pics free for the taking! Also, you might want to check the other sections for new pics. Even if I haven't updated the other parts, I still insert in a new image or two. And they're not just of Fuuko-san.
Ah yes, the Fanfic and Fanart section has a lot of new entries! For the fanfics, we have poems and sonnets done by Chris Evanson and Bottou-chan, both members of the ML I'm in. A song fic by Natsumi-san, a love story by Bottou-chan (again ^_^), and chapter one of my *first* TOKIYA-FUUKO FANFIC (I didn't think I could make one until now). For fanart, i have two *real cool* contributions from Ailin-san and Crabby. Man I wish I could draw....
Then of course more new links in the links section (I seem to have a whole lotta links added every time I update ^_^. More and more FoR pages seem to be popping up in the net.
And lastly, I opened two new shrines!!!!!
The first is for Raiha fans out there (don't be shy, come out, come out, wherever you are!). DAYS OF THUNDER: A RAIHA SHRINE. It's a mini (and I do mean, mini) shrine for my favorite Uruha Ninja with info, pics and what-have-you.

Okay, i suppose that's it for now. Enjoy your visit everyone! Ja ne! April 8, 2000 Okay, a lot of new fanfics for everyone's enjoyment! Those marked by in red are new fanworks, okay ^_^. I've now sorted the fics by author, and you can e-mail them for whatever response you wish to tell them. There are a lot of talented writers in the ML I'm in so here goes. I've also written something I never thought I would. Just see them below, okay ^_^?    MARCH 3,2000 Konnichi-wa! My apologies if it took me a while to update my not-so-little site anymore. I've been busy with hospital work (*yuck* there are days when you wonder why you chose your given profession). I've also been preoccupied making 3 other little shrines, only one of which is done *_* (you might ask, where does she find time to do all this???). Well, you see, in between inserting IV lines to unruly children and suturing the open wounds of drunk drivers, I think of what to add in this place. I work 72-hours a week so don't go complaining *_*. Anyhow...the shrines I'm making are for Raiha and a Raiha-Fuuko love page. The third one isn't Flame of Recca but in case you're interested, it's A Rei and Tasuki Romance. Yeah, yeah, so it's another one of my insane ideas. And even if Tokiya is the apparent winner of my "The Man For Fuuko" poll, (by a landslide, no less). I'm still rooting for my Uruha ninja. ESPECIALLY after reading the manga translations from Raging Fire and The Uruha Jyushinshuu 2.5 and after getting my hands on manga no. 20. So enough of my useless blabber, and let's see what I've added to my site.
For one thing, I changed the background on some of the pages. I didn't change all of it because I don't know which you, my visitors, would like. Also because I thought it would be nice for a little variety. You may also notice that my old updates are NOT HERE. This page is taking already an eternity to download so I transferred the old updates in a new updates section. Only the new stuff will be posted here. You may also notice the new buttons down there. I transferred the navigation buttons of Team Hokage here because they need more exposure. Oooh, and have you noticed that *NEW* black button in between Kaoru and Tokiya? Yup, it's for my Raiha page...but don't click on it yet because the page is still under construction. And, as you can hear, I added midi in this section. WHHYYY? Again, for a little variety. The song is entitled "She's Like The Wind" as performed by Patrick Swayze (yes, he *can* sing, and he does it very nicely ^_^) for the film "Dirty Dancing." You were probably still in your diapers when this song came to fame so I won't be surprised if you all go, "Duh? What the heck is that?" I like this song a lot, it's so...nice. I'd put the lyrics if I had them but I don't. What else? I fixed all the broken links for the images, by the way ^_^ so you can all now see those pics of Kaoru, Kurei, Raiha and Fuuko that *never* appeared before (thanks for the tip, Julie-san!). Also, I renovated Kurei's page, added more pics and stuff. Go see! Then some more stupid ideas in the "You know you love Fuuko too much when..." in the Miscellany section, plus become a member of THE FUUKO KIRISAWA FAN CLUB by e-mailing me and getting the BADGE in the aforementioned section ^_^. Added a few titles and blah blah in the section about ME, the webmistress (as if you'd be interested in *that*). Then the main additions can be found in the FANFIC SECTION...Oh yeah, I've added two fanfics by me and four or five more from other contributors! Very interesting and more varied topics. Plus a piece of fanart from a nice Fuuko fan, Debra. Get to see also who won some of the awards I'm giving out in, no less, The Awards Section. And, unbelievably, I recieved some awards myself ^_~!!!! Then I put up a link to my old guestbook, to those who wish to read the older entries ^_^. And finally, some new links added to the links section. More and more Flame of Recca sites seem to be popping everyday, much to my delight ^_~. And to those who want to see more Fuuko pics, I'm still working on Gallery four...and would you believe? I have enough material to make a fifth gallery!!!! There's like what, 6 or 7 people who like it. And that's enough to make me deliriously happy (I'm not hard to please, ne?) So I wrote two more fics. One is a litle light, and the other one is another mushfest ^_^. They're not as long as Destiny. Just see the list down there. I shelved my Kurei fic for the meantime. I'm beginning to develop another Raiha-Fuuko fic this time involving the central stone of the fuujin. It'll be posted sometime in March (Duh, I wonder where it's at???).     February 2, 2000 Happy Valentine's Day to everyone ^_^! I know it's the love month, but for folks like moi who aren't lovestruck, it's just another mark on the calendar *_*. But since I am also a *desperate (worse than hopeless ^^;;;;) romantic*, you know I had to change the opening graphic. It's going to stay there til the month is over. I hope you like it ^_^. My apologies about Recca's image. His hairdo is just *impossible to edit!* Okay, updates, updates. I've finished repairing my Rei shrine, and I've recently added to the bishounen shrine, so I guess it's time to turn back to Fuuko's place. What's new? I added more pics to the different sections, and finally the third installment of the gallery is here ^_^! A fourth gallery is up in the works. You must know how difficult it is to find Fuuko pics in the net *_* since the anime is over and there aren't that many FoR shrines. Though AnimeArt apparently is putting up new galleries, and hopefully they'll be more FoR pics there! I have the complete set of FoR anime in the VHS, but I don't know how to make screen caps...and I think you need a VCD to do it. Which I don't have. I also re-wrote Gashakura vs Fuuko in the Versus section, due to some inconsistencies (as pointed out by a fellow Fuuko lover). There are also some *new and incredible* Fuuko animated cursors, courtesy of The Girafee's Sleeping Quarters. Some new "YKYLFTMW" in the Miscellany section. I'm in the throes of making a spearate Fuuko-Raiha love page, but I'm still trying to conceptualize how it is going to look like. I'll probably put up a separate page for it. There's a new section up, Awards, where I'll be giving out awards to FoR shrines I like. If you want to apply for it, go see! Oohh, and I finally got a picture of Saicho-kun! Right there in the Friends section^_^! A few new links have also been added to the links section. By the way, I decided to keep this a pure Fuuko shrine (in contrast to making it a ful-fledged FoR shrine). As Veil-chen points out, it's one of the few (I know I'm not the only) Fuuko shrines in the net. And there are already a fair number of FoR sites. In truth, I've been itching to update this site since the last time I updated it ^_^. Am I a Fuuko addict? Worse...worse...worse...^_^. I want to add so much to this place that the ideas are virtually leaping out of my head. But I had to put temporary reins on it. For one thing, I had to repair my Sailor Mars shrine. Rei has been giving me *the look* since the day I launched my Fuuko shrine *_*. If looks could kill, you'd all be paying respects to my dearly departed soul by now *_*. Jadeite has also been threatening me with his dark crystal, and the bishounen boys are creating a racket (Awww, c'mon guys, I've already sent your shrine into cyberspace). So anyhow, what's new in Fuuko-sama's world?
I finally gave in to the demand of The Hokage Ninjas, and you'll find profiles for Recca, Tokiya, Domon, Kaoru and a salute to Kurei, all in the "Flame of Recca" section. Also, find out why Saicho (of Team Kuu) makes a better partner for Fuuko than Raiha (courtesy of Yappi and Yapper) in Friends and Foes. Three new chapters have been added to the fanfic section, as well as two new fanfics, and some fanart. There's also some new links added, to new shrines of Flame of Recca. And finally, get your very own Fuuko mailing addy and read some nonsense *blah...blahs* in the Misc section.
So where the heck is Fuuko's new gallery????? Yeah...I'm stilll on the verge of arranging pics to make up that one. I've collected about 30-40 new images that need some fixing up, and Ana-chan of the Tokiya Shrine is giving me some beautfiul screenshots. So please put on some patience a little longer, friends and visitors ^^;;;.
Must I tell you I am so totally overwhelmed with happiness with the signatures I'm getting on my guestbook (*dances and prances around with joy*)? I come back in 2 days and I find *eight* new signatories! But now my guestbook is already 40 kb and filled to the rafters...with more than 70 signatories. So I had to get a new guestbook ^^. If you click down there to the guestbook button, you'll arrive at my new one. But I'd still make a link to my old one...which I find waaaay too simple (heck, it doesn't even provide me with a freakin' date :P). But if you've already signed my old one and still want to sign the new one, well don't let me stop you ^^. As you can see, I changed the navigation buttons at the table down there. I would've stuck with the original, but when I was making new ones for the new sections, I couldn't get it right and they all looked horrendous *_*. So I decided to change everything. And if you wonder, why is the heck everything in freaking monochrome...well, I tried keeping the original colors, and stuck in one table, they looked terrible :P. So I just changed everything into single colors. My apologies if it isn't your color. Okay, that's enough rambling for me for one day. See ya guys next time! December 24, 1999 (Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year To Everyone!)
Two sections have been added, one for the fanfiction and another for miscellaneous Fuuko stuff (e.g., Why Do I love Thee). I would've put up a third gallery, but I thought I'd save that for the next millenium ^_^. That is worth waiting for is it not, Fuuko-lovers? I've been getting reactions to add more of the other Hokage Ninjas here. Hmmm...I've been thinking about it, but then, I'm afraid Fuuko-sama will skin me alive if I do *_*. After all, this is A FUUKO SHRINE. Then again, she may not. So if I do get the motivation, I will make this a whole Flame of Recca site. I'm a little busy, updating this and making peace with Rei-chan (who is demanding why Fuuko-sama's page looks better than hers ^_^;;;). I'm also at the middle of repairing my Jadeite shrine and launching the bishounen shrine. AAAAAARGGGGH! In between that is my medical practice and my household duties. I've always been biting off more than I can chew.

I'm one of the *worst* hopeless romantics you can ever hope of encountering *_*. So this fanfic you are about to witness is a mushfest. Uhhhmm...well...it's not *that* mushy.
